Martin Bellamy

CGLN is the brainchild of Martin Bellamy in response to what he sees as a seismic change to the global economy similar to the industrial revolution. His vision is to provide leadership to support an economy underpinned by clean growth, creating both jobs and sustainable businesses.

In line with this, in 2017 Martin became Chairman and Co-CEO of Gravity, a purpose built smart campus – a blueprint for a smarter, cleaner future underpinned by clean growth. The ‘live-work-play’ campus will be home to where companies make a difference socially, economically and environmentally.

Martin founded Salamanca Group in 2002 and is focused on establishing new businesses and delivering transformational real estate developments globally.  He led on the development of Bulgaria Mall, one of the largest developments completed in South-Eastern Europe when launched, and the regeneration of OneOcean Port Vell, a leading superyacht marina in Barcelona. In addition, he was actively involved in the creation of Funding Affordable Homes, a social impact company.

Martin initiated the formation of the Barcelona Nautical Cluster in collaboration with The Port of Barcelona and Barcelona City Council, to reactivate the Barcelona’s marine sector and generate significant economic impact.  He is driven to establishing networks, uniting individuals, and organisations with the same passion to create a real difference.  He is also the Chairman of Bounce Forward, a charity focused on teaching resilience in schools.
